And we see the survival of the students. There's an apocalyptic romance going on throughout the series. So, if you're into an intense romance with a little sparkle of action, you must watch High School of the dead!

The dead began to rise in Japan and there was chaos everywhere! When these monsters came to the school, Takeshi Komouro is forced to kill his best friend when he gets bitten and joins the rank of the walking dead!

Clannad is overall, a sentimental anime but with that romance goes side by side. Tomoya is the main protagonist who resents his town due to the bad memories but only until he meets the love of his life Nagisa,  who's quite introverted.

However, all his dreams are shattered, as the boarding house he chooses to live in is full of weirdos. Among those weirdos, lives Ritsu Kawai with whom Usa immediately falls in love. Slowly falling deeper in love with Ritsu, Usa continues living in that boarding house.

Well! How would you feel if you received a letter from your future self, telling you that you will meet the love of your life and then tell you about his death? I'm sure you'd feel awful.

However, this is the main plot of Orange . It follows the story of Naho Takamiya , who receives a letter from her future self telling her about her first love, Kakeru Naruse , and his sudden death.

She doesn't take it seriously considering it to be a prank. However, she gets really surprised as the events mentioned in the letter really happen. This marks the beginning of Naho's mission of saving Kakeru Naruse .

25. Anthem of the heart

We have another great movie with another great life lesson, which is " Staying true to yourself" .

This movie follows the story of Jun Naruse , a really talkative girl in her childhood, as she gets cursed by a magical egg for breaking apart her family. Following this, Jun is unable to speak as she gets nauseated if she tries.

As she gets into high school, she meets Takumi Sakagami and his friends and discovers that the curse does not apply to singing . Jun Naruse then tries to break her curse as she falls in love with Takumi.

24. Kokoro Connect

This bizarre yet interesting series revolves around the detection of bonds between several friends! Can you imagine revealing the secrets of your best friends? I can never imagine betraying them.

Anyway, the characters in the anime do not reveal secrets on purpose. There's this supernatural phenomenon that forces them to reveal their secrets to detect their friendship!

Inaba reveals to Taichi that she's got a crush on him but the sad part over here is that he's in love with some other girl named Iori. The pet girl of Sakurasou, the name seems a bit weird but I bet that this anime won't disappoint you.

The beginning of the anime might be a bit weird and turn off most of the audience but what follows up makes it really great. It follows the story of Sorata Kanda , a guy who is good at nothing , and Shina Mashiro, a genius painter who knows only painting, as they live in the Sakura Hall of their school with a bunch of weirdos.

This anime will teach you a lot of things through its characters. Sorata's struggle to find his place in this world and the struggle of other characters really make this anime a gem.

21. Bakemonogatari

Are you guys into Vampires and monsters like that? If you're into them you're at the right place! The story of Bakemonogatari revolves around the life of a high school boy Koyomi Araragi who gets bitten by a vampire and is turned back to a human but some vampire traits remained in his body!

It's a well-developed high school romance anime in which we get to see a sweet relationship between the two characters and they're so wholesome as well! Everyone deserves to watch SEROTONIN rising Anime and this has to be one of those anime that'll boost up your serotonin! 20. My little monster

The relationship between the main characters in my little Monster is also pretty cute. The story revolves around Shizuku Mizutani, an honor student , who knows nothing but study, and Haru Yoshida , who is considered a delinquent and does not go to school. Despite his attitude, Haru is quite caring and sweet.

At their first meeting, Haru straight away falls in love with Shizuku and confesses his feelings. However, it takes some time for Shizuku to realize her feelings . The sweet interactions between the couple are really wholesome to watch.

19. rascal does not dream of Bunny Girl Senpai

This series follows up a passionate love and the existence of a Bunny Girl who seems to be invisible to others but is visible to the main character, Sakuta Azusagawa!  They both met for the first time in a library and how he was able to see Mai-san (the bunny girl ) fascinated him. So, that's how things between them slowly proceeded.

They both get to know one another slowly. Mai Sakurajimaused to be a celebrity who's currently a high-school senior now. She's the senior of Sakuta Azusagawa! I mean, who wouldn't fall for a bunny girl who's super cute, bubbly, and gorgeous at the same time?

Sakuta ends up falling head over heels for Mai and confesses his love by screaming out "Mai San, Tsukida"which means "Mai San I love you". So, if you're into High School Romance Anime, Bunny Girl Senpai is a perfect pick!

18. as the moon, so beautiful

As The Moon, So Beautiful is one of the purest romance anime out there. Its slow build-up to the confession and gradual development of feelings is really wholesome and worth watching .

The main characters of this story are Akane Mizuno and Kotarou Azumi . The story follows as both of them support each other in persuading their dreams and figuring out their future.

Y'all must have dreamed of reliving your life . Everyone thinks that if they are given a chance to relive their lives, would that make any difference? Well! ReLife tries to give us the answer to this question.

It follows the story of Arata Kaizaki , a failure , as he is given a chance to relive one year of his high school. During his ReLife, Arata discovers a lot of new things and realizes his mistakes. The character development in this anime is just exponential.

Along the way, Arata finds himself falling in love with his classmate , Hishiro Chizuru , who was also a Relife experiment subject, though Arata was unaware of this. The romance between the supporting characters is also well-balanced and makes the story even great.

16. My love story!!

Now I'll tell you about the most wholesome rom-com in my opinion . I, myself, have watched it over 5 times and I really love it.

Ore Monogatari probably has the cutest and the most unrealistic couple . It involves Gouda Takeo , who literally looks like a gorilla to people around him, and Yamato Rinko , a really cute girl. They both end up falling for each other.

It has no unreasonable drama or plot twists to prolong the story, just pure and cute romance. This anime makes even the slightest things, like holding hands and calling your girlfriend by their first name , seem really cute and wholesome.

I seriously recommend it!

15. Monthly girls Nozaki-Kun

While most of you guys hesitate on confessing your love to your dear ones. We've got Chiya who musters up the courage for confessing her love to Masayuki  who mistook her as a fan for the first time, but then Chiya clears up the misunderstanding and gets invited to his home later on!

So, you should definitely check out Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun! And These dreamy scenarios only occur in Anime. *sad noises* I'm pretty sure you all want to try a perfect love just like how everything happens super smoothly in anime.

14. Say, "I love you"

This anime is worth a watch if you're a freak for romantic anime! The main character in this anime is very hot and cool as well! This Anime revolves around the story of Mei Tachibana who is socially awkward and believes that friendships only result in betrayal, well girl I don't want to oppose it and I agree with you! However, not every friendship is meant to break if the energy is right from both sides! She also never had a boyfriend in her 16 years!

The story follows Mei and her everyday experiences of a new set of emotions as she allows Yamato to get closer to her every day. However, here's a little bit of a SPOILER, they ended up kissing in the first episode! So, if you're into anime like that and if you're an introvert you can imagine yourself in her shoes and you must try watching this anime!

13. A Silent voice

A silent voice is probably one of the best anime movies of all time. It highlights one of the major issues of our society, " Bullying" . It reflects this issue in an amazing way and the consequences of it.

It involves the story of Shoya Ishida , who used to bully her deaf classmate, Shoko Nishimiya . Nishimiya, later on, leaves the school as the bullying proves too intense for her. Shoya Ishida, later in his life, faces the consequence of it, " Guilt" . The story progresses as Shoya tries to make up for his behavior as he helps Shoko.

Well! Romance isn't the main genre of this anime. However, it still has a fair amount of romance .

12. Ouran high school host club

Ouran High School is a prestigious school, and Haruhi is an intelligent student and is considered poor by others. However, her scholarship enabled her to stay in such a prestigious school!

Haruhi tries to find a quiet place to study and by destiny, she meets a group of boys who are known as "Ouran High School Host Club". After a while, she befriends them and they hang out a lot. In the end, HaruhiandHikaruend up dating one another. And aFUN FACT,Their voice actors are married in real life! Can you guys believe that? That's super wholesome, right? I'd die to experience such a Kawai love life!

11. Lovely complex

In most romantic anime, the couples usually consist of a tall guy and a short girl . However, this is not the case with Lovely Complex . It revolves around a fairly short guy, Atsushi Otani , and a quite tall girl, Risa Koizum i. In the beginning, both of them liked someone else and tried to help each other. But, things spiced up quite a bit along the way as Risa fell in love with Otani .

This couple might seem pretty incompatible due to their height difference . However, in reality, they get along really well with each other. The comedy in this anime is also top-tier. Risa's continuous efforts to impress Otani and make him fall in love with her are really fun to watch.

10. Horimiya

If you're into anime that revolves around character development and making strong bonds with the people around you, Horimiya is a good choice. If you're looking to break away from the action and tragic anime, this short anime will refresh you!

Hori is a very bright and peppy girl who starts to like Miyamura! Miyamura on the other hand has two personalities. One is being the badass guy with piercings and chains all around him, but.. he hides that personality at school, the other one is a nerdy guy with a kind heart and warm aura around him. Miyamura also develops feelings for her, as a consequence, they end up dating one another! Then, we get to see their sweet couple's life at school and home!

We Were There is another great addition to this list. The main plot consists of a teenage girl Nanami Takahashi , as she falls in love with the most popular guy in school Motoharu Yano . Motoharu, on the other hand, has a hard time trusting people due to his past trauma.

The story progresses as Motoharu and Nanami try to clear their feelings for each other and fall deeper in love. The anime can get a bit slow in the middle, but you will still enjoy it as the relationship of Motoharu and Nanami is what makes this anime worth watching.

If you have plans to cry all night long, Plastic Memories will be your friend to accompany you or the main reason for you to cry! This anime will bring you to tears but also is one of the best High School Romance Anime.

Kaguya Sama – Love is War, we can notice from the name that how our MC Kaguya suffers due to the pride in her and her crush Miyuki, they both try their best to make the other one confess to one another and in this way their war continues.

But oh man, you can't hide your emotions forever! It's hard to keep your emotions inside you all the time, so they both open up to one another and start dating happily! So, this anime is also one of the Best Hight School Roman Anime that you'll ever find!

Now, the fellow in this series is quite funny! She resembles that girl from " The Ring " and is misunderstood a lot by her appearance, everyone fears her. Nobody approaches Sawako until our main protagonist appears!

Shota is the guy Sawako ends up dating and they go head over heels for one another. They look super cute together! Even after dating, Shota gives her compliments like "You resemble the girl from the ring" it sometimes flusters Sawako but she still likes it because she's being loved! And anything is acceptable in love, isn't that right my wise fellows?

This anime is a " Feel Good " anime to be honest. Or maybe it's because I watched it in a good phase in my life. Who knows? You should try watching it if you haven't watched it you're missing out on life!

Futaba Yoshioka is a 16-year-old girl who tries to act unfeminine to fit into her friends thought she had a sad history and it always haunts her. Due to that trauma, she feels as if her life is uninteresting.

You know how the main character comes and grows a garden into the heart of a female character! Exactly that's what happened! Futaba found a tender guy named Kou , he's a warm-hearted guy who treats Futaba how she deserves to be! And In this way, Futaba loses her control and they start dating and cherish each other more than anything!
